Installing an MQI client on your Windows 95 system

あなたのWindows95システムでMQIクライアントをインストールする．

When you have expanded the SupportPac, the files are located in these
directories, where <drive> is the drive and <dir> is the directory you
chose to install to:

圧縮されたSupportPacファイルを展開した後に，ファイルが以下のように配置

  <drive>:<dir>\mqm
  <drive>:<dir>\mqm\bin
  <drive>:<dir>\mqm\conv\table
  <drive>:<dir>\mqm\tools\c\samples\bin
  <drive>:<dir>\mqm\tools\c\include
  <drive>:<dir>\mqm\tools\lib

Note, the MQI client can be installed to any drive at any level of
directory nesting.

Now follow these steps to complete the installation:

インストールが終了したら，次のように設定しなさい．

1. Create an MQSeries configuration file (mqs.ini) in the
   <drive>:<dir>\mqm directory and add the following stanza:

	MQの設定ファイル"mqs.ini"を，mqmディレクトリの下に作成する．

   AllQueueManagers:
   DefaultPrefix=<drive>:<dir>\mqm


2. Run the Register.exe program located in <drive>:<dir>\mqm directory
   to configure your Windows 95 system. 

	mqmディレクトリにあるRegister.exeプログラムを実行して，Win95の設定
	を行なう．

                                         The Register program uses its
   installation location (<drive>:<dir>\mqm) to determine what values
   to add to the registry. 

	このプログラムで，インストールした場所(ディレクトリ)の情報を，
	レジストリに登録してくれる．


   For this reason it is important to
   execute Register.exe from a directory that is directly above the
   MQI client installation.

	そのような理由により，mqmディレクトリ上で，register.exeプログラ
	ムを起動するのは重要である．

   First the program creates a directory <drive>:<dir>\mqm\errors
   where any trace, error or FDC files are located.

	まず最初に，エラーを書き込むディレクトリmqm\errorsを作成して，
	トレース情報などを書き込む．

   Next the program will add or modify the following entries in the
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE hive of the registry:

	また，HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE以下のレジストリに，次のような情報を追

   SOFTWARE
     \IBM
       \MQSeries
         \CurrentVersion

          FilePath              - Location of the MQI executables
          WorkPath              - Location of the MQI working files

   SYSTEM
     \CurrentControlSet
       \Services
         \EventLog
           \Application
             \MQSeries

              EventMessageFile  - Location of the message catalogue
              TypesSupported    - Bitmask of supported types


   Notes on registry modifications:

	レジストリ編集に関する説明

   Both FilePath and WorkPath values are set to <drive>:<dir>\mqm

	mqmのファイルパスと，作業用パス．

   The EventMessageFile value is <drive>:<dir>\mqm\bin\amqcatnt.dll
   The TypeSupported value is set to 0x07

	イベントメッセージファイルが，\mqm\bin\amqcatnt.dllであり，値が
	0x07を設定する．

3. Add the the following statement to the PATH= clause in your
   autoexec.bat file.

	autoexec.batファイルの環境変数PATHに，mqmのパスを次のように設定
	する．

   <drive>:<dir>\mqm\bin;<drive>:<dir>\mqm\tools\c\samples\bin;

   Where <drive> represents the drive and <dir> the directory to which
   the MQSeries Client has been installed.

	これで，MQ Clientがどこにインストールされたか設定された．

4. Restart your system to activate the modifications carried out by
   steps 1, 2 and 3.

	インストール内容を有効にするために，Windows95を再起動する．


MQI Client tracing
	MQI クライアントトレーシング
------------------

Tracing the flow of execution through the client is controlled by the
commands:

　コマンドを通して，実行をトレースする事が出来る．

  strmqtrc -t(trace type)   to start tracing　トレースの開始
  endmqtrc                  to end tracing　トレースの終了

Further details about tracing are as for Windows NT.
	トレーシングについて，WindowsNTなら，もっと詳しい情報がある．

Note, trace files cannot be re-routed to other directories. They will
always appear in the <drive>:<dir>\mqm\errors directory.

Verifying the installation

You can verify your installation by following the instructions given
in the chapter "Verifying the installation" in the book:

	インストールが正しく行なわれたか否かを検証することが出来る．

Other Considerations
	その他の考慮点

Existing MQSeries installations will be rendered inoperative by the
application of this SupportPac to a directory other than that
currently occupied by MQSeries. 

	現在インストールされているMQは，こんかいインストールした事に
	よって無効になる．


This is due to the modifications made
to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE hive of the registry by the Register.exe
program. 

	それは，register.exeによって，レジストリが変更されるからである．

To revert to the previous installation the changes made to
the registry and autoexec.bat file, detailed above, need to be undone.

	以前の設定に戻すためには，レジストリと，autoexec.batファイ
	ルを元に戻す必要がある．
