450R POST

１．はじめに

　このドキュメントでは，Enterprise 450RのPOST(PowerOnSelfTest)の結果取得方法について説明する．

２．シリアル接続しておく

　450Rの場合，RS-232Cポートが１つしかない．

　「A/B」と書かれている25ピンのポートがRS-232Cポートとなる．
　その下に同じく25ピンのポートがあるが，これは違う（何か不明）である．

３．スイッチの入れ方

　450Rでは，スイッチの入れ方によって，詳細なPOST，つまりハードウェア診断モードに移行する．

　スイッチが右になっているときに，デバッグモードとなる．
　ちなみに，左の時に電源OFF，上の時に通常の電源ONとなる．

４．テスト実行

　このモードで起動した後は，特に何をするわけでもなく淡々とテストが行われるので，その内容をロギングしておき，後で検証する．

　このテストを行ったマシンは，256MBx8枚で2048MB RAM,UltraSPARC-IIx4CPUというマシンであった．
　このテストの結果から，別に異常は発見されなかったが，CPUが１つ壊れていた！ので，発見できない障害もある．
